Our cable tie bases are available in either black or a natural colour and have a self-adhesive base to help create your own cable tie mounting points.
They are a great way to keep cables tidy and out of the way, preventing a health and safety hazard by, (for example) routing cables under desks or cabinets. This will not only keep them safe and out of the way, but will also help make the area look tidy too.
To apply a cable tie base to a surface, all you have to do is make sure the surface is clean and grease free. Place the base on the surface, securing it in place with pressure so it sticks to the surface.
However, if you are planning to place the base in an area that experiences high temperatures, or if the surface is uneven and cables are being placed within them are heavy, then you can also secure them into place by screwing them onto the surface.
Our cable tie bases are available in two sizes; 19mm by 19mm or 28mm by 28mm.
The 19 x 19mm base fits cable ties up to 3.6mm wide and has a central fixing hole of 3.5mm in diameter.
The larger 28 x 28mm base will fit cable ties up to 4.8mm wide and has a central fixing hole of 5.7mm in diameter.
On both bases, you’ll find there are two sets of cable tie guides on the base at 90° to each other.
