Hook and Loop Cable Ties

Description

The velcro equivalent of the traditional cable tie, the hook and loop cable tie is great for those times when you need to unfasten and adjust what it is the tie is securing in place.

Adjustable to any size and reusable countless times, these cable ties are soft and wide, resulting in minimal risk of cutting into and crushing data cabling or fibre optic cables.

It is quick and easy to add or take away cables and can be trimmed to the length you want with scissors. Once more they are environmentally friendly too.

This universal cable tie is available in black only.

They can be used anywhere indoors and even for securing bags to a bike, pram or wheelchair. For collecting together cables that are under a desk, or for use behind the television at home where cables tend to get tangled up.

Testing has shown that these ties have the following strengths:

• Sheer Strength = 0.66 to 0.75kg/cm².
• Peel Strength = 100 to 125g/cm.

The above figures apply to ties that are new. These figures are likely to change after a number of opening/closing cycles.

It certainly is a handy little contraption to have in your toolkit, even if you only use it to keep something e.g cables out the way and together, when you are working near them.
