Our metal detectable cable ties are designed for those times when you need to be able to detect your cable ties. They are nylon with metal embedded into them, which can be detected through an automated process.
Purposely blue in colour so they can also be easily seen.
These cable ties are typically used within the pharmaceutical, medical, dental and food processing industries, where hazardous waste, for example, needs to be detected easily and kept separate.
They are also ideally suited to the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) process, which identifies where hazards could happen in the process of food production.
This enables these cable ties to cover the installation of cabling in close proximity to a manufacturing mechanism.
They’re made from nylon, self-extinguishing to V2 UL94 and start to absorb water (up to 8%) when immersed in water.
They work fine in temperatures ranges from -40℃ to +100℃, are non-toxic, halogen-free and recyclable too.
They are available in a multitude of widths and lengths to meet all needs.
